About Me
Iām a philosopher at Bowling Green State University.*
I was born and raised in Indiana. I received my PhD in philosophy from the University of Arizona.
I mostly write about things in moral philosophy, social philosophy, moral psychology, and political philosophy. I prefer working in new areas where there is lots of open terrain.
I collaborate often, especially with my friend Justin Tosi. We wrote this book together as well as this one.
My brother Craig is also a philosopher. You can check out his work here.
I pull for the Cincinnati Reds, the Indiana Pacers, and the Indianapolis Colts.
My favorite fictional detective is Nero Wolfe.
*Starting Fall 2025, I will be Associate Professor of Humanities at the Hamilton Center at the University of Florida.
